The Food Safety Inspector Training Program is a comprehensive educational course designed to equip aspiring food safety professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure the safety and quality of food products. Role and Responsibilities of a Food Safety Inspector

Conduct Inspections: Perform both routine and unannounced inspections to assess food safety practices and compliance with regulations.


Evaluate Food Safety Systems: Review and assess the effectiveness of food safety management systems such as HACCP plans.


Identify Violations: Detect and document violations, providing guidance for corrective actions.


Educate and Advise: Offer training and advice to facility staff on food safety practices.


Enforce Regulations: Issue citations or orders and collaborate with enforcement agencies when necessary.


Report Writing: Create detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.


Emergency Response: Manage food safety emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.

Assessment

Final Exam: Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a final exam paper via email 

Format: Multiple Choices Questions- 40 Questions 

Duration: Participants will have 24 hours to complete the exam and submit it

Prerequisite

Participants must have successfully completed the Food Safety and Hygiene Level 4 course or an equivalent advanced food safety training program. This ensures a comprehensive understanding of intermediate food safety management practices and principles.
